do you hide your plunger? i most definitely do, at the back of my supply closet, deep in the back where the dust bunnies and mold monsters might lurk. here's another funtastic product that arrived from alice supply co., we couldn't resist bringing in these wacky little plungers. available now!!!

an inspirational chalk

last night i got my july catalog for anthropologie, i'm a huge huge fan..i wish we had one here, along with it's sister store urban outfitters. the dresses, jewelry, home stuff is all so whimsical. and everyone knows that the best sales are only in the store. their store and window displays are always something to marvel over..there have been many a cool one come and go, i could say that i draw a lot of inspiration from them. i've heard that every store is different because they let their associates go carte blanche but that could just be a rumor.

last year while working on one of our ads, i wanted to play around with this idea of working with chalkboard and drawn in accessories. unfortunately, time and budget were against me so i never got to see my vision come to life..and anthropologie beat me to it. great job!! i love this.

now does someone want to volunteer to build me a chalkboard set?

hello fishees.

we've got a brand new addition to our store. i have been dying to tell you all about this for months now but had to keep mum before we jinxed ourselves. please help me welcome the jonathan adler line, we are official resellers for the brand, yippee!!! in the months to come, we'll be receiving some fun upholstery pieces, casegoods, and accessories.

i loved watching j.a. on top design. his funky sensibility always puts a smile on my face, i wonder what ever happened to that show? anyway, i'm digressing. the line has a fun 50's/60's vibe that we think fits right in with our meridiani, consignment, and art pieces. these pieces won't break the budget either with sofas starting at $1700. i can't wait to start showing all the great things that start arriving.

here is the trousdale floor lamp in white, kea is a little annoyed that i made her pose so you could see the proportions of the lamp. don't mind her, she isn't having a good hair day.

we also will be getting new alice supply co. very shortly. stay tuned for new hammers and screwdrivers, along with garden tools, and more tool boxes. i can't wait! keep you posted..

thank you so much for coming out to support tcm. the mystery bags sold out in 45 minutes!!!! we didn't anticipate such a frenetic response and are beyond amazed as well as thankful that so many of you helped us create a fabulous party. it was a success working with tcm, ka, swam, and modern luxury, it's always great to work with such a fantastic team of people, we can't wait for the next event.

i was a little disappointed that i wasn't able to get a bag.....these were some of the cool pieces that i was coveting and some lucky people scored for only $50 bucks. trust me..they are drool worthy.

mystery may madness

omg, i've been dying to talk about our latest event since we started planning it. now the fish is outta the bowl and i can finally bare all. mystery may madness is happening on thursday the 27th of may.

we've partnered with tcm (the contemporary museum) to bring you an evening of madness and indulgence. tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased through nicole higa at the museum. some of hawaii's most coveted artists are participating by donating art work to be sold in mystery bags for a steal of $50.00 each. proceeds to benefit tcm.

seriously ladies and gents..you don't want to miss out on these bags. john koga, pegge hopper, mary mitsuda, mark chai, and alan leitner are just a few of the participating artitst..there are dozens more.

we have other surprises scheduled and you won't know til you join the fun. if you're in the know...you know our parties rock! there will be food, there will be drinks, there will be fun and there will be MADNESS! can't wait to see you all here.

we just received these amazing little guys from melissa moir de rivera torres of unleash studio and i am just in love....i'm calculating how i can fit one of them in my home as we speak. melissa is a young, fresh, and totally hip product designer...and the best part is she's lives and works here in honolulu.

these two guys are just prototypes but she will be making more. we are currently running a waiting list for these guys. call or stop by our shop for details.
