one of the best things about working here is meeting so many amazing artists and people. it's such fun to get new things in the store..so without further ado..wendy kim messier dropped off these super fun floor and table lamps today. you might know wendy as the accomplished jewelery designer and now she's branching out into lamps amongst other things..literally branching out by the looks of these living art pieces.

one of our favorite artists timothy ojile has been keeping a secret stash of rumrill pottery. he has graciously given us several that he's willing to part with and to be adopted into a good home. i love these little guys. the colors are scrumptious and deliciously yummy with an extra added flavor of kitsch. don't believe me, just see for yourselves in these pictures or just come visit them and get to know them personally. prices range from $60 to $150 a piece.

sorry, it's been so long..i'm sure all 5 or 6 of you have missed our absence in the blogosphere. there's lots happening in the shop lately. new things are scheduled to arrive very shortly, we also have a printmaker's show coming up on december 2nd....more to come on this later!

christmas is right around the corner...my how the year has flown by, we'll have officially been on the scene for 3 years! can you believe it? here's a little treat of what we've been working on to make your holiday gift giving a little easier.

gift baskets!!!! yep, you want one of these..they are fun, fun, fun. we took a look at our friends and made baskets for them. there's the OCD, the bun in the oven, the handy andy, the constipated gardener and the sinful chef are just to name a few....
